Casual Poet

Casual Poet was the cartoon diary I kept for roughly a decade. Over the years the strip took many different forms, from hastily scribbled in sketchbooks, to carefully composed on the page, from one panel per strip to twelve, black and white to color and back again. I started Casual Poet as an excuse to have something to draw every day so I’d get better at making comics, and as time went by and it became more and more popular online it started to become the only comic I had time to make, which wasn’t what I’d intended at all when I started it, so eventually I decided to retire the project and focus on making new books.
